Debug (2014) – Debug (2014) – User Reviews – IMDb
Debug is, in the end, a mediocre film with several massive, bulky cargo holds full of wasted potential due to an almost mindless indifference to the core driver of every good horror film—atmosphere. 60 out of 74 found this helpful. Clever filmmaking could have distracted the audience from its problems, but Debug often goes out of its way to show lengthy exterior shots of the ship and too many well-lit corridors and big shiny rooms. By doing this it makes its own artifice all too evident. Which is a shame, because it has the foundation of a good film.

However, Debug suffers from a lack of atmosphere brought on by the fact that every scene is over lit. It gives Debug the shiny look of a film set not quite finished. Equally problematic is the cast.
